This has become one of my favorite places to go for many years, but their menu has adjusted with the times. I used to go here for their incredible burger selection, but they are so much more than a “hamburger restaurant” and nothing upsets me more than when an eclectic menu like theirs is simplified by hamburgers only lol. Last night I wanted to go eat by myself and just have a simple meal. I walked in around 9 PM knowing that the kitchen closes at 10 to make way for their bar scene, which is also a lot of fun for anyone who enjoys a good DJ or band on a Saturday or Friday night but I got a simple order of buffalo wings and their brussels sprouts and let me tell you I was blown away by how good both dishes were. They have a new buffalo sauce that is absolutely a mix of hot and mild, but extremely tasty and their brussels sprouts were out of this world make your way to Steam pub for whatever meal you’re in the mood for.
This neighborhood spot is something special — it’s located in a beautifully restored old train station that’s full of historic charm and nostalgia. You can feel the history in the railroad foot rest at the bar and read about it on the menu. The food is consistently great — elevated comfort dishes that hit the spot without trying too hard. Their burger is top-notch, and their appetizers are perfect for sharing. The cocktail list is creative and well-balanced, with classics done right and seasonal specials that show off some serious bartending skill. It’s got the feel of a local hangout with the quality of a hidden foodie destination. Whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner or just stopping in for a drink, it’s easy to see why this place is the best restaurant in Southampton. Highly recommend!
While looking for a restaurant to hold a repast lunch after my father’s funeral we came across Steam Pub and I’m so grateful that we did. While going through a difficult time Heather made this process very easy, without much notice Heather took care of every detail to ensure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the day of the whole team made sure everyone was taken care of and the food was outstanding. If you’re looking to have a gathering (we had a party of 22) I highly recommend Steam Pub. Thank you again to the whole team, we will absolutely be returning.
Bar staff at steam is amazing very attentive friendly and makes an amazing cocktail. Happy hour is a great deal and we stayed longer for the staff. Highly recommend coming
Very friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. They were very busy with a large event going on and that did not have any effect on attentive service or our food orders. We had a party of eight and all of us loved our food. I would highly recommend this place!
Did a google search for places to eat near by me at the time and Steam came up. So happy we went. Service and food were so good. Fifty minute drive from home but will definitely come back.
My family and I love steam! The food is great, service is even better and their half priced bar for happy hour is the best deal in the area! Definitely recommend giving Steam a try!

I came her with my grandparents and cousin and we loved it! Our food was out in 15 minutes and our waitress was great! Instead of her politeness feeling fake and forced, it felt real and genuine. We ordered the boneless wings with sweet and spicy sauce, the penne pasta with butter, a bang bang burger, and the burger tacos, and everything was great!
